Asked who would live there, Trump said it could become a home to "the world's people."
Netanyahu said Trump was "thinking outside the box with fresh ideas" and was "showing willingness to puncture conventional thinking."
Hey, remember when I said "And anyone who has a problem with the way Israel is doing business in that part of the world is in for an even bigger world of hurt now than they already were," and all that, re: the election of Trump as SCROTUS? Well... this shit right here is way worse than even I could have possibly imagined, and I thought I had a pretty good imagination about just how badly Trump could fuck things up. Guess I still underestimated how much of a colossal fuckup he could be.
Seriously, this is the global politics equivalent of an unruly toddler sitting next to a toy box, smashing GI Joe action figures against each other, pretending like he's the ruler of the fucking world or some shit. It is absolutely horrendous.

Well, no, I guess this is still part of the spectrum which includes the possibility that Trump could just randomly decide to try to nuke the entire region into vapor on a dementia-addled delusional rage whim, which is (probably) the actual worst case scenario. So... in that context, I suppose this isn't the worst possible thing that could have happened. But still, the fact that he's even floating this idea as a thing to do, whether or not it actually ends up happening, is goddamned abhorrent.
Anyway, in conclusion, to hell with Donald Trump forever, as usual.
