Damn, Pat's got me wanting to play it again (i.e. the first game, because I don't own the second and probably won't until I ever manage to finish the first one [or just see it for dirt cheap on Steam at some point prior to achieving that]). The first time I gave it a shot, I played it for 84.4 hours, according to Steam, and never progressed past only a little ways into the main story line. And that was explicitly because, after I got more into it, I looked online to see what was the absolute bare minimum amount of progress required through the main quest before the game opened up and essentially let you abandon the main quest altogether, until you decide to resume it (i.e. without a time limit being imposed), and do basically whatever you want and go wherever you want, once all the abilities and systems have been unlocked.
It's sort of like how I've never once progressed past chapter 2 of Red Dead Redemption 2 in any of the two or three times I've played it, despite putting 127 hours into that one.
Meanwhile, Woolie's over there grimacing and wincing and groaning and basically saying (to paraphrase and generalize) "Oh, it's one of those games, is it? You're one of those people, huh?" I very seriously doubt there will ever be a "Woolie VS Kingdom Come: Deliverance" Let's Play. ¬_¬
