Of all the comics displayed in today's post, this one was by far the most interesting to me.
"Is simply describing reality an act of insurrection now? Was it always?
"Yet pointing out the hypocrisy of all this is like saying water is wet - everyone already knows and the water isn't listening.
"While we are getting mad about it they are getting on with it."
...
And for that one cartoon implying that Charlie Kirk's murderer came from a good family...

From the comments below the post, this was the first time I ever saw the name Horst Wessel. Yeah... Charlie Kirk seems like he might become (or already is) the new Horst Wessel. It's not a one-to-one comparison (e.g. Charlie Kirk wasn't part of any MAGA paramilitary groups or whatever [afaik]) but, still... yeesh. It's less "was Charlie Kirk like Horst Wessel?" and more "is Charlie Kirk being martyred and his murder being propagandized in a way similar to how Horst Wessel and his murder were?" The answer to the first question is "kind of but not really," but the answer to the second question is "absolutely fucking yes."
(How long before Tyler Robinson gets Jeffrey Epstein-ed in prison the way Wessel's killers did? ——¬_——¬)
