Disclaimer: I have played Bioshock, Bioshock 2, and Bioshock Infinite, but I have not played any of the DLCs for any of the games that have DLCs.
But I still watched this video anyway. Heavy spoilers for just about all of the Bioshock series within.
First, I don't know how much of this is legit and how much of it is Pat just talking right out of his asshole, as he is sometimes wont to do. (To note, I don't watch Pat's streams at all.)
Second, I'm not as (performatively) torn up about it as Woolie seems to be, but still... if Pat is being legit here, and it really is the case that Elizabeth from Infinite is the sole reason why everything happens in Bioshock, which also apparently is directly contradictory to Bioshock 2 and essentially retcons it completely, then that sounds kind of messed up.
Or, I don't know, maybe it's the absolute coolest shit ever. *shrug* Like I said, I haven't played the Burial at Sea DLCs for Infinite myself. I don't have the original games anymore, since I don't own the consoles anymore, either, but I do have all the remasters on Steam that I bought dirt cheap a while ago. I'm not sure if this makes me less or more inclined to perhaps finally give those a spin at some point. I don't know... I'm just kind of over the whole "cinematic first person shooter" thing in general, honestly, even for games that I played in the past and thought were cool at the time.
