I know that it ran for a little while after I left. I heard that it finally died out around '04. At that time, it certainly wasn't what it was back in its hey-day.

For the most part there's no activity. Now and then (there have been 2-3 instances) where a thread would pop up and live for a month or two then everything would die again. Then there's me who will occationally make a post for shits and giggles. There was a newbie that joined recently as well although right before I left for vacation so by the time I got back to continue replying they seemed to have left.

And reply he did, just a little while ago, along with Adrian. I must admit, I'm a bit surprised. I wasn't expecting it to go anywhere much. (And it still might not! ^_^v)

This Masterweaver guy seems to have some sort of overarching plot thing he's trying to get started, what with that other dude he's got up on the moon and whatnot. Wonder what's up with that...? Ah well, as long as he doesn't get too control freaky with it and can roll with the flow, it's all good as far as I'm concerned. Because you know as well as I that any sort of real attempt at "plot" will get thrown out of whack within two or three posts at best. :p

(I'm kinda starting to wonder if the guy might actually be an oldbie-pretending-to-be-a-newbie... I'm getting that vaguest of vibes along those lines. ¬_¬)

Btw, I might start hanging out in #ow again, even if it's just to leave mirc running in the background perpetually. I'll see about loading it up again when I get home tomorrow. It's esper.net, right? ^^;

wow irc. I still have it on my quick launch menu but the "last used" is showing as early 2008 and I'm pretty sure that was just Lauren logging in for a quick second from my computer. I haven't been in #ow or #afsm in ages.
