So apparently some rando "beat" Elden Ring in 7 minutes using wonky functionality and glitches to skip like 99% of the game and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz I don't fucking care.

Seriously, if you're using glitches or fucked up functionality (or time travel or eldritch magic or whatever) to bypass everything, why should anyone, at all, ever, give the slightest shit? That's not actually playing and beating the game. At that point, you might as well be using Game Genie/Game Shark/Cheat Engine/whatever to do it. I think I vaguely cared about shit like this maybe once, a decade or two ago, when I heard about someone beating Morrowind in five minutes or whatever, and even then it was like "Okay? They used glitches. That's not very impressive." Ever since then, whenever I hear about some schmo doing a "sub-7 minute any% what the fuck ever" on a new game, my eyes just glaze over.
