Yeah, I might've been willing to drop $30 on Kickstarter for Star Citizen 11 years ago, but I have no interest in spending $48,000 on it now. Or, like, even a millionth of $48,000 for that matter. The number of fucks I give about Star Citizen now is well into the negatives.

Just to note, you're eligible to buy this $48,000 bundle only if you're a complete and total dumbass who has already spent at least $10,000 on Star Citizen, apparently.

I mean, if Unity were really serious about this supposed "reset," the first and only ones they'd get rid of and replace would be the entire board of executives (besides just John Riccitiello anyway), starting with whatever moron thought that getting rid of 25% of their employees is a good way to "reset." But then, that's just a pipe dream, because it's not like the bosses are going to lay themselves off, after all, even if they're the ones who are causing the problems that need to be "reset" in the first place.

Really, the still very unlikely full huge crash of the modern video game industry that I've been hoping for for at least a decade or so now has been seeming every so slightly less unlikely lately and, indeed, may already be in the process of happening. Or, at least, of the big huge "AAA" part of it, anyway. *fingers crossed*

Yeah, it really does seem like we're just jumping from one scam to the next, over and over again.

"The judges also questioned the attorneys about whether they should even render a decision on his claim of immunity and instead allow the case to move forward in the trial court."

I hope those judges render a decision that is the harshest, most harmful decision that they could possibly make against Trump. Not that it will matter, of course, because the Trump-stacked SCOTUS[1] is obviously going to undo anything that goes against the God Emperor, but still, it would be nice for a little while, at least. (EDIT) And yep, I was proven entirely correct. *weary goddamned motherfucking sigh* (/EDIT)

All the shit about how it's "just political" and how this would cause tit-for-tat retribution in the future against Democrat presidents... that's being said as if the GQP isn't already trying that shit now with Biden. They're already trying to... ahem... trump up as many bullshit, unproven, evidence-bereft, long-since debunked claims against Biden as they possibly can even now. Hell, one of them, as mentioned in the article there, was brought up as a possibility by Trump's own lawyer (e.g. Texas possibly suing Biden "after he leaves office for mismanaging the border allegedly"), in a ludicrously disingenuous concern trolling attempt to explain why it would be similarly bad to not let Trump get away with Trump's own actual, flagrant crimes. It is all so goddamned banal and asinine.

(Look, I'm no big fan of Joe Biden, and I've said as much many times in the past. Just look at some of the posts in my "joe biden" tag here. But compared to blatant criminal and incessant liar Donald Trump, Joe Biden is just... you know... a mostly normal-ish old dude trying to do the best he can in the face of egregious opposition from hateful morons who ridiculously believe that Donald Trump is somehow a suitable candidate for POTUS.)

Really, seriously, truly, I am so fucking goddamned beyond sick and tired of Donald Trump and everything to do with Donald Trump. I sorely wish we could go back to the days when Donald Trump was nothing but a failed "businessman," an obnoxious reality TV "star," a creepy bit part actor in kids' movies like Home Alone 2 and softcore porn movies like Ghosts Can't Do It, and a hackneyed WWE "personality." Honestly, even all that shit was a bit much, but it's certainly better than former-POTUS-who's-using-every-trick-in-the-book-to-be-POTUS-again Trump, though. The sooner Trump's making it stink more in hell with his fetid presence, the better off everyone will be, with the exception of Donald Trump (and maybe the possible exception of Donald Trump's lawyers, because they are fucking jokes who don't deserve to ever work as lawyers after this travesty).

[1] - If the SCOTUS truly were to act fairly, as Trump dishonestly claims he wants them to do, then they'd immediately rule against him and drum his ass out of there and possibly even censure him for wasting their time with such ridiculous horseshit claims like a POTUS being immune from prosecution for committing obvious crimes against the Constitution. We all know that's not what's going to happen, though, of course. As much as I hope I am proven utterly wrong here and that the SCOTUS actually will do what's right, I'm not a fucking fool. I'm not going to hope for something that's so unlikely to happen. (EDIT) And yep, I was proven entirely correct. *weary goddamned motherfucking sigh* (/EDIT)
