All the Iowa Caucus proved was that the GQP is still filled with utter idiots.

I mean, sure, most of them voted for Trump, which was the absolute height of idiocy, but some of them voted for DeSantis or Haley, which was also pretty idiotic, still.

So I don't have to repeat this from now to the GQP nomination (which Trump will win, unless some morbid miracle happens and one of the other two somehow manages to bump him off), I'll just say right now that the above two blocks of text (including the *shrug + eye roll + weary sigh*) apply to all of it and will continue to apply to it until the whole ridiculous thing is over and done with and Trump (or whoever, but it's obviously going to be Trump) is declared the nominee.

But then we'll have to move on to the even more idiotic Trump (or whoever, but it's obviously going to be Trump) vs Biden, part II. As long as Biden ends up trouncing Trump (or whoever, but it's obviously going to be Trump) just as hard in 2024 as he did in 2020, if not even harder, it'll all be okay.

Otherwise... *ugh*shiver*puke*

(Apparently, as of this post, 35 people voted for Chris Christie, even though he dropped out almost a week ago. Go figure. Imagine braving sub-zero Fahrenheit temperatures just to vote for a loser who wasn't even in the running anymore. [Then again, that's still better than voting for Dumbfuck Jackass Trump, so... good on those 35 people, I guess? I mean, Christie was probably the "best" choice of a terrible bunch, after all, so of course he's already out.] And, sure, there were some other idiots besides the ones I already named also trying to become the next GQP nominee, but not a single one of them matters in the slightest, so I won't bother naming them here.)

Yeah, the fact that primaries are state-by-state, completely different shit depending on the state in question, and not all held on the same day is apeshittingly bugfuck.

All that other stuff Cody said... eh. *shrug* The gist of the episode, in general: Joe Biden sucks, but not nearly as much as Trump sucks, so let's use that as a jumping off point to talk about primaries in general, from like a century ago to now, while reminding everyone at every possible opportunity that Biden sucks, though not as much as Trump, who is still orders of magnitude worse than Biden could ever possibly be, even though Biden is pretty bad. Oh, right, primaries, so let's dunk on the whole Bernie/Hillary thing again, too.
