On staying up too late

On Feb. 3, 2005, I wrote: "Okay, so now I know that going to bed at 6:30am and getting up at noon is most definitely not something I should be making a habit of in the least."

This made much sense to me at the time that I wrote it. It makes much sense to me right now. So why, oh why, did it not make sense to me last night (or, more accurately: this morning) around 6:30am?
