I was initially annoyed that this came out so soon after the original SF4, but I might actually get this anyway* (for PS3, since the 360 controller generally sucks for playing this type of game).

I liked the SF4 renditions of the SF3 themes for Ibuki, Dudley, and especially Makoto (or at least the ones used in this video, since I'm guessing the versions in the actual game will be more fleshed out). One thing I hope is that all of the characters will have their themes in this version of the game, including the the several guys that got shortchanged before.

* - And then be annoyed and disappointed when they then come out with Super Street Fighter IV Turbo Hyperfighting Champion Edition two years from now.

It is an entirely new game, not DLC.

I've heard that it will include "bonus contnet" for people who owned the original "Street Fighter IV." I assume this means that it checks for saved files on the HD and unlocks it for your own personal use.

Hadn't heard that. Hmm... well, unless it's something super awesome that isn't available via other means (e.g. paid DLC), I'll probably still get it for the PS3, if I get it at all. The 360 controller really does suck for fighting games.

SF4 is getting cheaper on the PS3 as well, which makes it more likely for me to pick it up eventually. Whether I'll pick up the Super version I dunno since some of those new characters really pissed me off back in the SF2 days. ¬_¬

In fact, there's several games on the PS3 that have gotten pretty cheap that I've been curious or eventually wanting to pick up, like Soul Calibur 4 and (for reasons unknown to me) Bionic Commando. Ah well, guess there will be plenty of cheap games to buy new by the time I take the PS3 plunge - if I take it. (Still insisting on Ar Tonelico 3 being released in NA on disc!)

Personally, I kind of wish they'd brought back Karin (http://streetfighter.wikia.com/wiki/Karin) or R. Mika (http://streetfighter.wikia.com/wiki/R._Mika), instead of, say, Dee Jay or T. Hawk. Oh well, I guess they're saving them for the Turbo Hyperfighting Champion Edition. >_>

Didja ever notice that Makoto has big, huge MAN-FEET? Since Makoto can also be a boy's name (if I remember right), it was those massive flippers (along with short hair and androdynous voice) that made her gender such a question mark for me for so long. It wasn't until I noticed she was wearing a bra underneath her gi that I finally knew for sure.
