Reason #2 to want a 3DS

They are remaking Cave Story for the 3DS. (I just hope they do a better job than was done on the Wiiware port, though.)

Reason #1, for me, is the possibility that Capcom may change its mind and release Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright outside of Japan after all.

Right now I have 3 reasons to buy a 3DS -- Tales of Abyss remake, Kingdom Hearts 3DS, and Rockman DASH 3. They've also announced (without specifics) a SMT game, maybe a Persona game, and a Super Robot Wars, as well as FF and DQ titles possible.
