In my last entry, I wrote: "Beyond that, I don't plan on doing much of anything at all besides vegetate for the next two and a half days."

So, of course, this morning was the perfect time for my microwave to decide to die on me. After calling my sister about it, I walked a mile or so to Home Depot and Target. They didn't have crap at either place in the way of decent microwaves. So I walked back home. It was raining both ways. In the end, I'm sort of glad it worked out that way anyway, because I don't have a clue why I thought it would be a good idea to try to carry a 35+ pound microwave a mile in the rain back to my condo. My sister is going to order me one online after she does all this market research stuff, which I have zero interest in doing myself, in order to find out what will be the absolute best deal on a new microwave. I just want something capable of heating up TV dinners and popping popcorn, personally.

But, because I'll be damned if I was going to be going home empty-handed, I bought Black & White 2 at Target. So there is that. It was about the only thing for any system they had that even remotely interested me. Now I have to delete some crap off of my comp to make room for it to install.

I think I'll be ordering a pizza later, since until I go to QFC at some point I'll have absolutely nothing to eat. Unless I want to try to eat a frozen TV dinner, which I don't think I'll be doing. And I'm certainly not going to QFC today. So, yeah, ordering a pizza is sounding better and better all the time.

(EDIT) And Pizza Hut screwed up my order, which was bad. On the other hand, they made things right when I pointed it out to the delivery guy, which was good. This made him have to make two trips, which sucks for him but oh well. (/EDIT)

It'll cost a lot but the microwave we have at my house in Illinois will do things like detect if you have foil in there. Also, for popcorn, it will detect when it's done and it gets it perfect every time. I can find out what it is if you want...

My sister (who owns the condo) is the one who'll be paying for it, and I think she was looking for something in the $60-$100 range. So if it's within that, that'd be cool.

Instead of deleting crap to make room for Black & White 2, I highly recommend you look into purchasing one (or two) 300GB hard drives. 7200rpm, SATA, 300GB on newegg.com for ~$120. Mike and I just put together a computer for his friend with two of those babies *drool*
