At least, I think it was a Happy Meal. This was decades ago, back when I was a kid. It was, if I recall correctly, a picture book that came with an small old-school vinyl record that had three or four mostly forgettable kid's songs on it. The story, such as it was, was that there were these four singing robots... and that's about all I remember.

I say the songs were mostly forgettable because today, out of the blue, I had one of the them become stuck in my head for no apparent reason.

I've been trying to find it on Youtube with absolutely zero luck. The only, ONLY indication I've found on Google that these things actually existed at all is this one single post on an obscure forum, from over seven years ago (the toys/record themselves are much older than that) (EDIT 3, a decade and a half later) and that one link has now been lost to the ether of time (/EDTI 3), and that was from doing a Google search for the only line I fully remembered from the song. Searching for "Robotunes" or "Robotoons" (since I can't remember how it was actually spelled) doesn't bring any matches, at least that I've seen, though it could just be that my Google-fu is weak.

Does anyone else remember these things at all? This is really annoying.

This is it:

That's what I'm talking about.

Robotunes Record Player

The records actually came with a record player that had a picture of the robot band on the inside of the lid. It was a family of robots that formed a robot band. Awesome, if I do say so myself. The only names I remember from their theme song are Flash (on guitar) and the baby was either Little BeepBeep or Little MeepMeep. I wish I had never sold my player at a yard sale along with the records :(

I have this record..

I've been looking for it online as well but with no luck. Sounds like I need to step up to the plate and put it on the net myself.

I'll post a youtube link when/if I can get it online.
