Yep, as suspected, they're going after Steam now in addition to piracy and used games. Of course, this isn't the first time that such nonsense has been blathered about, just the most recent.

That's kinda funny because, if not for things like steam sales and humble bundles, I wouldn't be playing any modern games at all. :/

Yes, but that's logic you're using there. That doesn't apply to jerks like this.

They look at all the people playing the game for just 10 bucks and say "We'd be making 6 times as much money if they were forced to pay 60 dollars each. If it wasn't for Steam, they'd all have paid out their asses!!! And that's not even counting all the DLC we could force feed them!"

Yeah, you know it really has to burn them up when one can fairly often get a game and all available DLC for that game for something in the range of $5 to maybe $30 or so, when normally they'd be charging upwards of $100 if it were full price. And if they caught on fire from that burn, I wouldn't even piss on them to put them out.
