As for me, I'm not too terribly upset by this news. You see, I'd already planned not to buy The Sims 4 on launch anyway, and now I feel even more justified in that decision. I can definitely wait another four or five years for them to get all of the expansion pack crap out of their system (and for fans to release mods that will fix most of the bugs that MaxisEA won't be bothered to fix) and then get the whole thing in a big, somewhat more reasonably priced bundle.
