Hmm, so in the Facebook settings, they apparently let you turn *on* email notifications for things whenever you want, but won't let you turn *off* email notifications for things that are already turned on, or even show you what has been turned on, until you actually receive such an email. Then you're graciously given the opportunity to click "unsubscribe" at the bottom of that email.
Seriously, Facebook, how difficult would it be to just give a list of the things that I *am* subscribed to in the settings the same way you give me a list of the things that I am *not* subscribed to?
I'm getting ever closer to just killing my Facebook account altogether. The only thing stopping me from doing so is the fact that around 99% of the people I know, both online and IRL, use Facebook and apparently only Facebook, to keep in touch. *sigh* Well, it's not like the alternatives (Google Plus, Twitter, Tumblr, etc.) are any better, I guess. It's too bad that Livejournal is as relatively dead as it is. :/
