Sony apparently doesn't know why so many people are buying PS4s, and this article hopes to explain it to them. Interestingly, I think the author left out the most obvious reason of all, though: it's not the X-bone. I mean, that would certainly be one of the main reasons that I would end up getting a PS4 anyway, assuming I ever do end up getting a PS4 some day, which would likely be sometime after I get a Wii U, assuming I ever get a Wii U.

Want to know why that is? The older gamers are the ones that remember a time before DLC whoring. And this shows you what many of them are doing. The slight increase in young age gamers could simply be exgamer parents resisting to buy DLC Whore machines for their kids.

(Although there is the case of mobile gaming snaring some of them away)
