Huh. I wasn't even aware that Sony Online Entertainment had been sold in the first place. Looking at the list of games that they've made, it doesn't appear that anything of value was lost, at least as far as I'm concerned. *apathetic shrug*

Yeah, apparently Sony's sold off several divisions. I remember hearing about SOE recently so not entirely shocked - although I did forget they got renamed to Daybreak Games so it's good that Slashdot reminded me of it when I saw the story there.

I'm not really going to cry about it either. I'm not sure if there's many/any games by them that I've bought over the years. I'm more worried about the direction the Playstation division is going to go if the axe continues to chop, although really I think the Playstation division is probably one of their few profitable divisions for now. >_>
