On the flip side, can extreme anti-hype make a film perceived by most to be terrible actually somewhat tolerable? Maybe. Probably. In some cases. Also, on a related note, I fear that the excessive bashing of Fifty Shades of Grey has begun in earnest, as I predicted it would in this post. Oh, but I'm sure that this time, though, it isn't something that I'll quickly get sick and tired of being forced to endure, despite not giving the slightest shit about Fifty Shades of Grey itself either way. ¬_¬ In the case of those Bum Reviews and Sibling Rivalry videos, at the very least, I have the option to not watch said videos, which I will wholly exercise. We'll see about the rest of the steamroller bandwagon whenever it gets rolling, I guess.)
