Oh, and I'll just leave these here, kind of as a half-assed follow-up to the edit of this post, but mostly just for the hell of it.
(EDIT) And, holy fuck, I didn't even know about GamerGate's ties to child pornography before now. o_O Though, now that I've taken a minute or two to consider the matter, it really shouldn't have surprised me. Seriously, it's no secret that GamerGate was too vile even for 4chan, which is why most of them apparently jumped over to 8chan instead. I guess this would at least partially explain that move. Hmm. As if I didn't already have plenty enough reasons to hate GamerGate. (/EDIT)
(EDIT 2) And then I took a look at the timeline. Whew. Not even going though all of that shit right now. I did scroll down to the bottom, though, where it shows that GamerGate is apparently still harassing Alison Rapp, even after successfully orchestrating her firing from Nintendo. But, actually, it's about ethics in games journalism. (/EDIT 2)
