Donald Trump is not a stupid man. Yes, he's says terrible, outrageous, disgusting bullshit pretty much all the time, but he is not stupid. (His supporters, on the other hand...) That is why he is so scary to me. I believe that Trump will make for an absolutely horrendous President, if he somehow wins, but if he does win, it will almost assuredly be more due to his opponents fucking up in some way, rather than because of anything he or his campaign says or does. If anything, I think that is why Trump has gotten as far as he has already. It's less because of his own supposed accomplishments and more because those opposed to him simply keep on screwing the pooch.

Bernie Sanders running as a third party candidate in the general election, or supporters of Bernie Sanders writing in Sanders instead of voting for Clinton, regardless of whether Sanders himself runs or not, would definitely be yet another such fuck up that would ensure that Donald Trump wins in November. And Trump absolutely knows this.

I despise the whole "must choose between the lesser of two evils" bullshit as much as the next person, but in this case, I fully believe that Hillary Clinton will indeed be the far lesser of the two evils, assuming you consider her an "evil" at all in the first place.

In any case, no matter how you look at the situation, Donald Trump is vile. Supporters of Bernie Sanders, please don't let Donald Trump become the next President.

(I said in a previous post that I had a crackpot theory that Donald Trump's entire campaign was all a calculated ploy by the Republicans to make other GOP candidates look good in comparison to how terrible Trump looks... but Trump fucked up that theory by coming out on top. At this point, it honestly wouldn't surprise me all that much to find out after the fact that, all along, Trump was actually a ploy by the Democrats to make whoever runs on the Democrat side look better by comparison [especially given the fact that Trump pretty much used to be a Democrat himself]. I don't really think that's the case, but I don't think that it's totally beyond the realm of possibility, either. Yes, I am that cynical. And yet, even if that was a thing that was true, Trump could still very well ruin it by becoming the POTUS himself. And then where would we be? Hell if I know, but I know I don't want to be there.)
