So, literally over one year and six months after the previous contact (on May 9, 2016) from the Better Business Bureau concerning the complaint that I filed (on February 8, 2016) against the Greensboro News & Record, and also well after newspaper delivery to the old address was cancelled after we fucking moved over two months ago, I received a notification from the Better Business Bureau today that claimed that the News & Record had apparently tried to get in touch with me about all of this asinine horseshit. They (the BBB) asked me if I accepted the resolution. HA HA HA HA no. Seriously, what resolution? I told the BBB that, no indeed, I did not accept the resolution, but also told them that we don't even fucking live there anymore, so it is all a moot point now. They replied again, asking for "clarification," and I replied to that just to tell them to close the complaint and be done with it, because I was no longer interested in pursuing it. They replied to that saying that they would close the complaint and apparently post it on the public section of their website with the "resolution" of "Answered - the business addressed the issues within the complaint, but the consumer did not accept the response." I mean, that is obviously incorrect, because the News & Record did not ever "address the issues within the complaint," even on the rare occasions when we were able to speak to an actual human about it. Sure, they paid lip service to trying to fix it, but the situation was never actually fixed. But whatever. I'm long past being fucking done with this bullshit, especially given that, like I said, we don't even live there anymore. The whole situation is ludicrous, especially now.
