Just deleted my Twitter accounts.

Just deleted both of my Twitter accounts. Twitter is poison, and I am sick of it. Maybe someday, when sanity returns at some point in the nebulous future, I may go back, but I doubt it.

(EDIT) This will probably play holy hell with all of the posts in which I have embedded Twitter posts, but I think I tagged most of those with the "twitter" tag, so it hopefully wouldn't take much to go through and simply delete those posts, or at least the embeds if there was more to the post than just the embeds. Or I could just say fuck it and not bother. I'll probably go with that. Because right now I really do not give a fuck. (/EDIT)

(EDIT 2) That first edit there is a moot point, because my Twitter account is live again. Yeah... *sigh* It was more difficult to get rid of them than I thought it would be. I still have little intention of actually using them anymore, though, at least probably not while Trump is still POTUS, anyway. (/EDIT 2)

Oh sure, your sanity might be spared but WHAT ABOUT MY NEEDS DAMMIT. Now how am I suppose to get a convenient list of all the BS trump said. There's only so much Stephen Colbert will report on his channel after all! ;)

There's a vague, but not non-existent possibility that I might actually start using this Dreamwidth more often again, now that I no longer have Twitter eating up so much time. And plenty of people (too many, really) write news articles and blogs about Trump's asinine tweets, so I'm sure I'll still have plenty of material to rant about (without having to get it directly from the donkey's asshole itself on Twitter).
