Well. Okay. That happened.

And... my main response at this point is... *shrug*

I'm not even remotely as bothered by it as I thought I would have been. They've been kind of phoning it in for at least the past year or two anyway, so I kind of expected something like this would be coming sooner or later, pretty much ever since Liam left. It actually took way longer than I expected it would for it to become official.

As I don't follow them on their individual channels (I mean I amwas subscribed to them, but don'tdidn't really pay any actual attention to them), and I don't expect to start now... I guess that's pretty much the end of it, as far as I'm concerned. Oh well. For me, this is merely yet another group in a fairly long string of groups that I used to like but will now no longer be following. *weary sigh* Maybe that will change in the future, but... eh. Given how it has been with other such groups and my lack of continuing to follow them after they've broken up, well, that's probably unlikely.

(EDIT 4) I've since resumed watching Woolie's stuff pretty regularly, with the occasional foray into Matt's stuff. For Matt, it's mostly just been a very slow, stalled crawl through What Happened? from oldest to newest, and a couple of the LPs he did with Liam. For Pat, though, I pretty much don't watch any of his content at all, aside from the clips of the Castle Super Beast podcast that get posted to Woolie's channel and the rare crossover LP he does with Woolie. You know what... fuck it. I'm deleting all of that ResetEra rando speculation bullshit. True or not, I don't care, either way, and I don't care to be associated with it. Super Best Friends Play broke up and no longer exists, Matt and Pat are not friends anymore, as stated in the video above, and I don't give a shit about the reasons, except out of vague, morbid curiosity, which is irrelevant.

To make the below footnote make sense without having to change that, too: I watched Two Best Friends Play from 2012 or so and onward.[1]

[1] - And that's just for the Best Friends Play stuff. I was aware of the really old "Stupidity" videos from years before (fair warning: tons of broken links in that post that I don't care to bother to fix now, if ever, so I'll just link to a random Youtube playlist that has most of them here), though I didn't know until years later that those were made by Matt. And as for Pat and Woolie, I remember seeing Woolie's "passed up a threesome for Marvel vs Capcom 3" video (with a cameo by Pat) back when it first made the rounds in 2011 or so, which was a year or so before I discovered the Best Friends. And I found out about Two Best Friends Play in the first place via MLP:FiM and the Two Best Sisters videos by 2Snacks, and then there was the whole "Pat is a brony" joke which brought the whole thing full circle. So yeah.

And going back and looking at that older shit, it's starting to actually bum me out now that they're no longer together anymore. :/
