If Trump got that done, it would be the only good thing he'll have done as POTUS, assuming he actually accomplishes it, which I doubt he will. I don't much care which one they pick, whether it's always DST or always "standard," just so long as they fucking pick one of them and stick with it, and stop the asinine twice yearly changing. (EDIT) If I were forced to pick one myself, though, I'd probably go with "standard" instead of DST, and not (just) because it's the opposite of the one Trump said. Year round DST was tried in the 70s and it apparently sucked, for multiple reasons, so they undid it a year or two later. (/EDIT)
Also, I'm actually kind of shocked that he wrote "Daylight Saving Time," as it's properly called, instead of "Daylight Savings Time," like most everyone else incorrectly does. That's a bit suspicious to me as well. This is President Covfefe Hamberders who doesn't believe in Global Waming, after all.
Lastly, I would have said two good things he's done, given that he also scrapped the TPP (though, of course, he only did that because it was an Obama thing, rather than due to it actually being bad), but even on that he has waffled. So, yeah, for now, so far, Trump has done zero good things as POTUS of his own volition.

It will all depend on whatever is the last thing he hears about it (or any other given topic).
