Even in a video that is 90% about the fuck ups of the modern movie industry, they still manage to get a few shots in on the fuck ups of the modern video game industry, too. I approve.

Also... Uwe Boll got mentioned. That's a name I haven't heard in a good long while (thankfully).

It's more than that now. It just goes to show that Kickstarter can be used for pure shit just as much as it can be used for awesome stuff.

Okay, so it looks like the video in the link above has been updated with another awesome crazy Uwe Boll diatribe (and likely will be so again in the future, perhaps).

Anyway, as for the one that's up there now... He thinks people are jealous of him? He thinks that we actually spend money on his shitty movies? At best, I might watch one of his vile movies for free via bittorrent or whatever, but I'd never willingly and knowingly pay him a single red cent. Nah, for me the problem with Uwe Boll, as is the case with most other people who dislike him, is very simple: he takes video game franchises, some of them admittedly crappy to begin with, but many of them pretty cool, and then turns them into absolutely horrid, craptastic movies. These game franchises, in other hands, could have been potentially awesome movies, or at the very least they could have been movies that weren't anywhere near as shitty as the typical slushy diarrhea that Boll usually spurts onto film. Just because he's "outside of the system" or whatever is completely irrelevant to the fact that the movies he makes are still laughable turds.

Okay, so the above mentioned videos are long since lost to the ether.

This is the closest thing I could find, which is a short clip of the "see me what I am" bit. I couldn't find the actual original clip, though. All I could find were retarded edits with people making it look like he was saying he was gay for Michael Bay or whatever. *eye roll*

Well, until that one goes inevitably goes down as well. *shrug* I won't be updating this again, even if that one does go down, because it might actually be better if Uwe Boll's asinine mouth spew were lost to the ether forever. I... I don't know whether to laugh uproariously or cry.

In other news, I'm probably going to go see Pirates 3 in a little while. I've heard rumors that it wasn't that good, but we'll see. It certainly won't be as bad as any given Boll stinker.

Even as far as shitty Internet entertainment goes, this was painful to watch and boring as hell.

On the one hand, he mentions being fed up with it all, so much so that he may not even make any more video game movies (but apparently not until he finishes with the bazillion or so to which he already has the rights, that is).

On the other hand, he's still talking about wanting to make a Metal Gear Solid movie. *insert sudden ominous piano chord here* Hopefully, Hideo Kojima actually did tell him to shove it where the sun doesn't shine, as was implied by the article. And if he hasn't done so yet, I hope he does it soon, if only to kill even the rumor that Uwe Boll may taint any potential MGS movie with his vile touch.
