So, I was looking at a game on Steam.
I was like "Huh, this looks kind of interesting," so I added it to my wishlist.
Then I scrolled down a bit and saw:
"Notice: The Alliance Alive HD Remastered requires a controller in order to play. Playing with a keyboard and mouse isn't supported."
I immediately opened up my wishlist and deleted this game from it. (This also made me completely lose any vague interest I may have had in continuing to peruse the current NISA sale on Steam, as well. And it prompted me to block an asshole on the Steam forums when I went there to confirm that the game doesn't support keyboard+mouse. Why morons continue to insist on trying to trollishly defend the indefensible I'll never know.)
Anyway, I've ranted about this before, and I still think it is a dumbshit move on the part of video game developers to release games for PC that do not support the main means of input and control on a PC. I don't give a single flying fuck if it is "just a port" or whatever, it should still support keyboard+mouse. I do not have a gamepad/controller, I have zero interest in getting a gamepad/controller, and if your PC game requires a gamepad/controller, then it may as well be a game that does not exist, as far as I am concerned. The only way I will get a controller in the future is if I buy a console that goes with it, at which point I would be playing games on that console with that controller, and not on a PC.
(EDIT) This also reminds me that I never bothered to go back to Indivisible either... so... I'll get right on that... any minute now... ... ...yeah, I'm probably not going to (re)start playing that any time soon. ¬_¬ (/EDIT)
