Just got home from voting (and going to the grocery store afterward) about 10 minutes ago or so. Got there right at 1:50pm and got out right at 2:35pm, so it was pretty much exactly 45 minutes. It wasn't too bad. There was a strange assortment of mostly old people but also some younger people with pink or blue hair. I don't think I saw a single younger person that didn't have some sort of cotton candy colored hair. Also, every single person in line was wearing a mask, which was good (and a far cry from the grocery store that is right across the street from the library). They didn't give out those "I Voted Early" stickers today, or else I'd be including a picture of that with this.
Like I said I would, I voted purely (D)rive, rather than (R)everse.[1] And for the two unopposed Rs, I did indeed leave those blank.
On the way home, I took a different route I don't normally take. I saw two new Biden/Harris signs (not counting the one I parked next to at the library). However, for every one Biden/Harris sign I saw, I probably saw at least a dozen Dump/Ponce signs. It's just incredibly depressing to imagine that there really are that many hateful idiots living in this area. *weary sigh*
[1] - Even if the engine of that car might be stalling out right now and can't get up to maybe second gear at most with Biden at the wheel, it's still capable of forward movement, which is more than can be said for the rusted out lemon up on cinder blocks that Trump is badly pretending to drive. (Or, you know, that train that Trump and his Trumpanzees tout so much.)
