I think that having a literal, strict, no-compromises, not-open-to-interpretation belief in the U.S. Constitution is equally as useless and, indeed, as actively dangerous and harmful as having a literal, strict, no-compromises, not-open-to-interpretation belief in The Holy Bible. Both of these things have led to, are leading to, and will lead to terrible, horrible shit happening in this country and the world.
