I'm pretty much back to the same spot I was at the last time I played the game all the way through. In a new galaxy, half my equipment busted, both on the ship and on my own personal exosuit (though all that is required to fix it is to simply build a base and get access to my storage containers to get the materials needed to repair it all). Once I build a teleporter, I'll have access to all my old bases in the previous galaxy, as well as whatever new stuff is in the new galaxy. Completed both Artemis and Atlas paths prior to resetting into the new galaxy. Also did "A Trace of Metal" (to get the sentinel drone and autonomous Minotaur exocraft buddies, which was pretty much the only new thing), "Dreams of the Deep" (to "unlock" some of the underwater stuff that I'd already long before unlocked via the Space Anomaly), and "Starbirth" (to get the Living Ship that I'll probably never actually use since my starter ship is currently way better than any other ship I could find outside of extensive upgrades, and the Living Ship can't be upgraded, as far as I'm aware). As before, still a few minor milestones to complete, if I wanted to bother with that (I didn't, last time). This time, I did unlock all my inventory slots, both on the exosuit and the starship, prior to "resetting" the galaxy, which I didn't do last time. (EDIT) Oh, and I fought a few Sentinel capital ships, which is not a thing I did previously. And here's a hint: killing Sentinel fighter ships in space is a good way to get those one-use power-ups that you can assign to frigate missions, so that you don't have to make them yourself (or even use the freighter upgrades to unlock them for making, for that matter). (/EDIT)
So, yeah, I'm essentially done with No Man's Sky again, aside from any random puttering around I care to do. Maybe look for more weird worlds, maybe unlock some more creature slots and mess around with that, maybe do some more cooking, etc.
But I'll most likely just move on to different games. Still technically playing Terraria, though I haven't touched it in several days, and Dragon's Dogma, in which I'm up to the point where I can start the Wyrm Hunt quests, though I'm mostly just randomly exploring and doing those "From A Different Sky" quests. Whenever I do start a new game, it will probably be to restart a new playthrough of Red Dead Redemption 2. Or maybe I'll play as Aurora from Child of Light in Bloodstained. *shrug*
