Just finished my first play through of Metroid Prime 3. On the whole, it was awesome, but seemed incredibly easy. Then again, I was playing on Normal difficulty, and was also just coming off of a play through of Metroid Prime 2 on Hard difficulty (which was so annoyingly, hair-pullingly, ass-gripingly hard that I ended up just giving up on it altogether and not even bothering trying to beat Emperor Ing Part 3 for the umpteenth time, especially with the foreknowledge that I'd have to fight Dark Samus immediately afterward as well). The only times I died on MP3 were a couple times when the Hyper Mode thing overfilled when I wasn't paying attention, and once when I was retarded and ran out into some acid rain on the Pirate Homeworld. The actual enemies themselves were pushovers, though.

Now I can go back to Persona 3. Whee!

I still need to get both this and Bioshock. FPS normally aren't my thing but both of these seem too good to pass up (Loved MP1 but had the same complaints about MP2)

Of course all this hinges on me actually taking a break from Guild Wars. But this weekend is bonus rare drops so I can stop playing next week.... Right?

MP3 is definitely worth it. While I'm not sure if I liked it quite as much as the first one overall (aside from the control scheme, which is worlds better than either of the previous two games), it was definitely better than MP2 overall.

Yeah, I definitely want Bioshock as well. Right now I'm planning to get a Xbox360 when Mass Effect is released, and Bioshock is one of the games I'm getting along with it, and maybe Overlord as well. Oh, and Assassin's Creed, since that's supposed to be out by then as well, I think. Yeah, I'ma be taking a huge hit to the wallet come November. >_>

"Ass-gripingly?"

I've never played anything so difficult that it made me grip my ass.

Although fighting the boss Dio from "World Heroes 2" came close.

Not "grip", "gripe (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/gripe)" (definition number 2, or perhaps 5). It's a saying that my dad uses all the time about stuff that really annoys him. "Ah, that gripes my ass" and such. I note now that I also seem to have left out "controller-throwingly" to describe how hard it was.
