It turns out that I wasn't the only one who missed work yesterday. The guy who sits next to me was also out sick. Combining this with the fact that the team lead was himself out last Wednesday for practically the same thing (some digestive ailment or other, though he and I both initially attributed it to "something we ate" at the time), I'm thinking there was some sort of 24-hour bug going around.
