Holy crap, did I ever oversleep today. o_O I went to bed last night at around 3:30 or so and failed to set my alarm clock properly. But even taking that into account, it's kinda weird that I was completely dead to the world until about 10 minutes ago or so. Basically, I was asleep for almost eleven hours. And I'm pretty sure I was actually asleep for most of that time, too, and not just lying there half-awake as I do some nights, because I don't remember ever waking up and looking at the clock or dreaming or anything like that. Obviously, I missed my 12:30 English class this afternoon. :/

On a totally unrelated note, here's a follow up on my previous post about how much Toys R Us sucks, at least concerning Super Mario Galaxy. Well, as I have been planning to do and working up to do for probably over a year now, on the 18th I finally took the plunge and put in an order with Amazon for a Xbox 360, along with three games (Bioshock, Assassin's Creed, and, of course, the main reason I even wanted a 360 at all to begin with, Mass Effect). I debated for a bit with myself as to whether I should use the free Super Saver Shipping or use one of the faster methods but then decided that, oh, I should have Super Mario Galaxy pretty soon, and that'll keep me busy for a while, so I'll just go ahead and use the Super Saver thing and make the gaping hole in my wallet at least a tiny bit more shallow.
Well, for whatever reason, Amazon decided to ship the 360 itself early, and it was delivered today. Three days after I ordered it. Even though I used the Super Saver thing which was supposed to have added (arbitrarily?) five to nine days to the whole thing. The games themselves haven't shipped yet, though, and probably won't until next week sometime, but I do at this very moment have the 360 itself, sitting on the floor in the Amazon box in front of my TV. And for what it's worth, the 360 came bundled with Forza 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance, so it's not like I have a Xbox 360 sitting here with no games, either.
So yeah, Toys R Us, thanks a lot for sucking so much ass.
(And here's to hoping my 360 doesn't RROD between now and when the other games get here. ¬_¬)
