The comparison of Trump's influence on the ending of Israel's genocide in Gaza to a toddler being handed an unplugged video game controller so they can pretend they're playing the game is very strong. And, yeah, sure, if it'll shut his dumb ass up, then make up some kind of participation trophy or whatever to give him. Just don't tarnish the name of the Nobel Prize (well, more than it has already been tarnished, anyway) by giving a Nobel Peace Prize to a dumbfuck asshat like Donald goddamn Trump who is currently waging fucking war on "his" own citizens.
Yeah, I guess the silver lining to all of this is that we're giving future historians some truly great material to pore over during their "just what the fucking hell were they thinking back then to elect such a bizarre man as president" studies of the 2010s and 2020s. That makes it all worthwhile. *eye roll*
