Hmm...

(EDIT) So, I just unsubscribed from NovelAI for now. I might try it out again later, in a few months/years, when they've had more time to work the kinks worked out, maybe. However, this experience of essentially being told "you're doing it wrong" in response to what is clearly a bug, the specifics of which I won't bother to get into here given that they are fairly trivial, has left me less than enthused to continue on with messing around with it. Oh well. It was fun for the half a month or so that it lasted, I guess? (/EDIT)

So, I noticed just now that I had put Legend of Mana on my Steam wishlist, because I saw the little wishlist symbol on it in the "Featured and Recommended" thing on the Steam front page, so I checked out the page for the game.

It has Denuvo. Meaning that I immediately removed it from my wishlist.

I found this strange, though, because I was pretty sure that it hadn't indicated that it would have Denuvo when I added it to my wishlist a while back, back before the game came out. I checked on the Steam forums for the game, and apparently they waited until just before release, long after pre-orders had started, to add the Denuvo notification to the Steam page.

As such, I think it might be time for me to just blanket boycott Square-Enix entirely, at this point.

Holy shit. What a way to start the 50th episode.

I mean, the first one (that they presumably had to quit using after Orion Acaba left the show) was pretty good too, but this second one blows it out of the water.

Seriously, just during the process of typing this post, I've already watched that thing like four times already. (EDIT) Ha ha, and then they play it again themselves about 15 minutes into the episode. (/EDIT) (EDIT 2) And then they showed it again about an hour and half in, and then once more at the end of the game for the night (the three hour mark, which is where I stopped, since I stopped caring about the "Critmas" stuff very early on). Which, you know, I don't blame them, because it's fucking cool as shit. (/EDIT 2)

Matt Mercer, in my opinion, has the best bits in both (the dice toss freeze in the first one and the removal of the NPC face in the second one).
