Not going to say too much about it now, as I haven't played all that far into it, but I will say this much: The first five or ten minutes of the game are a bit depressing. It's kind of like watching certain scenes from Star Trek III: Search for Spock or Star Trek: Generations (anyone familiar with those movies probably already knows which scenes I'm linking to without even clicking them).
Aside from that, the game has been awesome so far.
Aw heck, I'll just go ahead and spoil the opening part of the game, though skipping over the first couple of minutes of even that (not that it will stop anyone from backing it up to the beginning, of course) because there are spoilers for the ending of ME1 in there, and also that's not actually how things went in my game. Also, this clip has Ashley in it, but my version annoyingly had Liara, for reasons already described.
