I just saw a post on Facebook. In addition to all of the other usual asinine txt-speak stuff that you might expect see (e.g. "2" instead of "to," "4" instead of "for," "c" instead of "see," "u" instead of "you," "tryn" instead of "trying," and so on), in this post they had also applied an incredibly infuriating new twist that I'd never seen before now. They had replaced every single instance of the letters "at" with the @ symbol. For instance, every "that" became "th@." "Fat" became "f@." And so on and so forth. My eyes. It made me want to stab pencils into my eyes.
