On the way home from the game dev meeting tonight, we got pulled over twice by the police, all within a span of maybe two minutes.

Sort of a mix of 2) and 3). The tail light on the car (not mine) was working, but wasn't covered with the red plastic casing due to a previous accident. That, and it was after 1:00am at the time, so I figure they probably didn't have anything better to do.
