Well, how about that.

Having never used Twitch for anything, I don't know if this would be a good thing or bad thing, but given the ever increasing shittiness of Youtube lately, I'm guessing it'll probably be the latter.

I guess that means in the very near future in order to sign up for twitch you're going to need to be a google+ member.

Guess I'll have to take a look at alternatives. I guess there's always livestream.

All I knew about Twitch was that it was apparently the "next big thing" and people were saying to use that as an alternative to how shitty Youtube has become. I guess that will no longer be the case if Google swallows them up, though.

Twitch isn't really about hosting videos iirc, so much as doing live streaming. It would be more of a direct competitor to livestream I think.
