Hrm.
On the one hand, it's like... are we really doing that whole "here's a sale based on some random D-list Youtube 'celebrity's' favorite games" thing even on GOG now? *weary sigh* (On the bright side, I guess, at least it'sAt this point I'd actually rather it not be TotalBiscuit[1] and not fuckingand instead be PewDiePie[2] this time. [But really, though, when are sites like GOG and Humble Bundle going to quit messing around and get the Best Friends in on this action, huh?])
On the other hand, it's like... well... regardless of any other concerns, I suppose TotalBiscuit at least has some good taste in games, for the most part, I'll definitely give him that much. (EDIT 2) And, after all, it's not the games' fault that they're being supported in a sale like this dedicated to such an asshat. The games are still going to be cool whether they're being sponsored by TotalBiscuit or PewDiePie or Satan himself. (/EDIT 2) (EDIT 4) And now, I am indeed sad for these games being supported by such a giant douchebag like TotalBiscuit. It's not to the point that I think the games are actually, truly tainted completely because a fucking asshat like TB happens to like these same games that I like, because that would be incredibly silly, but, all the same, it's still not a very happy day for me, I have to admit. It's really kind of amazing to me to think back on how far I've come from being mostly just apathetic about TotalBiscuit before I started writing this post to how much I intensely and actively despise him now that I'm done writing it (or will be done writing it, as soon as I stop making so many edits like this). (EDIT 5) It has come to my attention that TotalBiscuit apparently is afflicted with some form of cancer. That sucks. Nobody should have to put up with that. There are people in my own family who have cancer (or had it, before they passed away because of it). Cancer can eat a disease-encrusted penis and die a horrible death. However, with that said, having cancer does not somehow automatically give someone carte blanche to act like a complete dickhole. That's all I'm going to say about that particular aspect of it, except to say that TB was apparently pretty much acting like a complete dickhole even before that diagnosis, so I'm not even entirely sure how it's relevant at all.
In any case, for good of for ill, this is most likely the last, and really, only post (aside from the previous one I made about his misguided used games rant) that I'll be making specifically about TotalBiscuit. I might mention him in future posts if it's relevant to do so, just like I still mention other assholes like Jim Sterling or John Walker or whoever on occasion, but... meh. This is one of the damn reasons I stopped following game "news" in the first place, to avoid horseshit like this. (EDIT 6) And then I went and wrote this huge doorstopper of a post all about the guy, after that. (/EDIT 6)
Hell, for what it's worth, this post wasn't even intended to be directly about TotalBiscuit himself when I started it. It was originally just a slight dig at GOG.com for making the same sort of asinine "D-List Youtube 'personality's' favorite games" sale that Humble Bundle did when they made the PewDiePie bundles. Except, in hindsight, the PewDiePie bundles at least had the whole "supporting an actual charity" thing going for them, and were not, as I've since found out about the GOG sale, going to fucking support some fucking (fak)e-sports fucking bullshit. Yeah... I'm done. At least until I find yet another reason to edit this again, of course. (/EDIT 5)
[1] - Even if TotalBiscuit, rather unfortunately, is apparently one of those relative johnny-come-lately GamerGate supporters, the likes of which I mention here.(EDIT 2)[3](/EDIT 2) (EDIT) Oh, and TotalBiscuit is also involved in (fak)e-sports and also "manages" or "sponsors" a (fak)e-sports team or some such bullshit. (EDIT 3) And... fucking hell, GOG itself sponsors that same goddamn (fak)e-sports bullshit as well, and apparently the profits that will be made from this sale goes toward supporting that shit, from what I can gather. God fucking dammit. Welp, any interest I may have had in buying anything from this sale is now gone. Good thing I already own (on Steam and not on GOG, ironically) most of the games from there that I actually cared about, I guess. The more I hear about this particular sale, the less I like it. (/EDIT 3) (/EDIT) (EDIT 2) Oh, and there's the fact that in the GOG forum thread about this sale, TotalBiscuit himself is posting in said thread, but notice how he's mostly only responding to the people who are badmouthing him (most of which have already been modded down into "hidden" status, e.g. this one, to which TB himself responds here[3]), or the people who are talking about the people who are badmouthing him. Seriously, anyone who talks even the slightest bit of shit about TB in that thread, he responds and talks just as much shit right back at them. It's kind of sad to watch unfold, actually. Really, you'd think someone so "famous" and "busy" would have better things to do with their time, but I guess not. *shrug* Honestly, the more I read of that thread and the things people are saying about TB (some of which I hadn't even known about until now, such as him calling someone a "faggot" and then trying to justify it later [regardless of how much of a shitstain the guy in question may or may not have actually been], even if he did even later than that "apologize" for it [note my use of "air-quotes" to show how much I think of his so-called apology, which is to say, I think he's probably only sorry that it likely negatively impacted his subscriber numbers on Youtube and follower count on Twitter, and not actually sorry that he said it and then tried to justify it]) and TB's buttmad responses to said people, the more I lose what little respect I did have for TB in the first place.[3] (/EDIT 2) As such, I haven't actually been following the guy or watching any of his videos for quite some time, myself (since around the time of this video, actually, which was well before all the GamerGate horseshit started to come into play).[2]

They don't HAVE to buy gutted games to get 5 bucks off - and we know they buy those games because in a lot of cases the NEW copies of those same games are in the exact same condition anyway. What games should do is demand the new product to be unopened, like I do. Rather than just buy used copies to save a couple dollars just because it's the same condition.
Ok I think I'll stop before I launch into a rant about that again. ^_^

I agreed with his ME3 video for the most part, but, same as you, I thought he was mostly way off-base with his anti-used games video, aside from his justified condemnation of GameStop/GAME/whatever. It was just that he seemed to mistakenly believe that "GameStop/GAME/whatever" == "all used games everywhere" and that's where I think his rant on that topic shat the bed.
It's possible that I may just be forgetting one or another, though. At first, I thought that maybe I'd forgotten about these (http://kane-magus.livejournal.com/772867.html) two (http://kane-magus.livejournal.com/773392.html), but those weren't made by TotalBiscuit, and on top of that I got those from you in the first place, anyway.
