"8/ From my standpoint as a former defense lawyer and criminal investigator, the most bizarre aspect of Trump not yet being impeached, removed, and in custody has always been that his MO is unchanging, his criminal associates are unchanging... yet he still doesn't get apprehended.
"9/ What I've learned—what we've *all* learned—is that when the most powerful man in America is a criminal, the amount of evidence and effort and time and resources and political will it takes to bring him to *justice* is... like, *insane*. Almost more than the country can muster."
Or... and I'm just spitballing here... perhaps those who had been and still are in positions of power to put a stop to this insanity since before Trump became POTUS, i.e. the Republicans who were leading both sides of Congress up until the Dems took the House in 2018, either A) have dirt on them from back when the Russians hacked the Republicans (which they did at the same time they hacked the Democrats) and are too afraid to act against Russia and, as an extension of that, against Trump or B) are criminals themselves who are knowingly, willingly neck deep in all of it, for self-serving reasons of their own, right there alongside Trump and his own circle of flunkies or C) both A) and B) together.
