I'll answer the question posed in the video title before I even watch the video. The reason why the Department of Obnoxious Memelords is lying about everything is because Elon Musk and Donald Trump, the latter being a known pathological liar and the former being a sniveling sycophant... and also a huge fucking liar. Simple as that.

Now to actually watch the video and see what nuance Some More News may put on this in the course of an hour.

...yeah, okay, I had completely forgotten that Vivek Ramaswamy had been involved with the Department of Goofy Edgelords for about five minutes.

So... without going into the nitty gritty (which one can do, if one really wants to, by simply watching the above embedded video), about half of this video was example after example after example of Elon Musk (in that weird monotone he always uses), and Elon Musk toadies like "Big Balls," all lying their asses off and demonstrating to everyone just how incompetent and inefficient they really are, and then the other half of the video was describing the effects of how all that stupid horseshit will fuck over American citizens and also people who are not American citizens, and then a bit at the end about the real reasons why Phony Stark and Dumbfuck Jizzstain Trump are doing all of this.

Seriously, the fact that one of the staffers of the Department of Overflowing Kaka goes by the name "Big Balls" pretty much epitomizes all of this ridiculous nonsense.

Also, the promise (threat?) of another entire SMN video on the topic of the Department of Ridiculous Knuckleheads. Yay(?)

Anyway, in conclusion, to hell forever with Elon Musk and with Donald Trump, as usual.

The only silver lining here, as far as I am concerned, is the very mild schadenfreude I feel about watching Trump's racist, dumbfuck MAGA base starting to possibly implode due to Trump's blatant hypocrisy. Or, rather, I guess the real issue at hand here is this: just who does Trump hate more? Is it foreign people (which delights Trump's racist, white supremacist base, but concerns Trump's rich, only-concerned-with-getting-richer base because it potentially harms their ability to get richer)? Or is it poor people (which comprises a vast percentage of Trump's racist, white supremacist base, but about which the rich, only-concerned-with-getting-richer base could not possibly give less of a flying rat fuck)?

Either way, on the one hand, seeing RWNJ dipshits like Laura Loomer being marginalized on 卐-formerly-known-as-Twitter is a good thing. However, on the other hand, the reasons for her being marginalized on 卐-formerly-known-as-Twitter is not because she's a RWNJ dipshit but merely because she happened to piss off Phony Stark, the grand high pooh-bah of 卐-formerly-known-as-Twitter, as well as one of Trump's current favorite anus-tonguers.

I'm not sure what's better, the article itself, or all the pearl-clutching MAGAt asshats crawling out from under their rocks in the comments, whinging about "unprofessionalism" or whatever (especially that one twit who apparently thought that a "buffoon" was a type of "ape/monkey or similar" and was trying to "gotcha" the article with false claims of racism), or telling them to "stick to tech news," as if some RWNJ dipshit trying to buy into a website and turn it into a RWNJ spew-piece all Elon Musk-style isn't tech news (and also as if The Verge hasn't already been writing similarly about politics itself for years before now). The direct responses from the editor-in-chief of The Verge to some of the dimmer of the dimbulbs in the comments are pretty great, too.

Honestly, if this is "unprofessionalism," then we need more of that in left-wing news, as opposed to all the bland, inoffensive (to the point of actually being offensive), bothsidesism-infested bullshit that constitutes too much of left-wing news these days. (Or... like, I guess... I could just start reading HuffPo or Daily Kos or, y'know, Buzzfeed again...? ...nah, those actually are unprofessional. Still, I'm a fan of a news site just [correctly] straight up calling a dumbass a dumbass, rather than a bunch of mealy-mouthed equivocating. Of course, what I'm really a fan of, again, is just burning it all down to the ground and starting over again, from scratch, but this'll do for now, at least.)

Disclaimer: before now, pretty much all of what I knew about this Vivek Ramaswamy muttonhead came from this Some More News video from last year (starting around here), which has the same sort of "ha ha, wow, look at all these fucking morons" vibe to it as that The Verge article up there. All I know about him is that he is apparently at least as idiotic as Trump himself if not more so (not sure how), wants to be the next Trump (not sure why), and now, apparently, wants to also be the next Elon Musk (again, not sure why, other than blatant stupidity on the part of Ramaswamy, which tracks with everything else). Oh, and that he's a racist, transphobic piece of shit, like most other RWNJs are (again, see also: Donald Trump and Elon Musk).
