Bugs in games

A while back I said, "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed for the Xbox 360 is one of the most bug-ridden console games that I've played."

Well, I think Fable II gives Force Unleashed a pretty serious run for its money. -_-

Let's see... so far for me, the Bowerstone Market furniture store doesn't sell anything. And, worse, I had a kid, and though at first he was running around and talking and such, he now just stands in one spot forever and is completely unresponsive. It's rather annoying. Apparently both of these glitches are somewhat commonplace.

Despite this, the rest of the game has been awesome for the most part. But... even so, maybe I will start on Fallout 3 tomorrow after all, even though I haven't finished Fable 2 yet. :/ (Though I'm sure it'll have its own share of bugs and crap, as well, I don't doubt.)

I saw this kind of thing coming a long time ago, the first time I saw a console come with a harddrive installed. It didn't help when I saw one of the listed intended features of the harddrive was to "download patches" for games.

What it mean to me was the days of (virtually) bug-free console games were soon to be at an end.
