"Yu Suzuki Working On Shenmue Town"

Not that I care except to rant about it, though, because as I've already said, I don't want something that is "less of an actual online game and more of a social space with minigames" (assuming it even becomes available for Western gamers, and if it doesn't, it won't be any sort of loss in my eyes).

I want Shenmue III.

I don't want MMO Shenmue.

I don't want some gaiden Shenmue thing that is mostly unrelated to the main series (though, that said, it could work if done well, i.e. they make it more like an actual Shenmue game and not like this crap here).

I don't want "less of an actual online game and more of a social space with minigames." And to reiterate, I don't even want "an actual online game" at all, for that matter.

I. Want. Shenmue. Three.

That is all.

The only marginally good thing about this whole deal is that it shows that Sega hasn't altogether abandoned Shenmue, which seemed to have been the case until now, given that Shenmue II came out almost nine years ago and there's been nary a peep out of them since then (aside from Ryo being put in that racing game, but that doesn't much count). Therefore, there is still the tiniest of hopes that maybe we will see a true Shenmue III at some point in the next decade or two.

Especially given the rate hike that went into effect yesterday, and, more importantly, given the reasons for said rate hike.

I seriously could not care less about map packs for Call of Duty (or about Call of Duty itself, in general), or about Gears of War or Halo, or about ESPN or any of that other useless crap that comes with a Gold account... so yeah, I think I'm going to switch to Free when my current Gold subscription expires. Honestly, given that I currently do absolutely zero multiplayer gaming anyway, I don't think I've ever really needed Xbox Live Gold to begin with. I had a "free" year that came with my original Comcast subscription back in 2004 that I never got around to using until after I got my 360 in 2007, and I've renewed it for the past few years due to simple inertia. But now I think I'm done paying (more) for stuff that I don't use and in which I have no interest in the slightest.

That's pretty crazy.

Also, when did Michael Cole become the heel? Opposite Jerry Lawler of all people, even.

Vote goes here.

Endorsed by Axe Cop.

(For reference, John Allen Soares played the role of Ronnie Cordova in Sock Baby, among other things, so I know he's capable of awesome.)

(EDIT)

Ooh, and he's got Twitter as well. *follows*

I found this to be rather interesting. (Well, I guess I should say "am finding", since I'm still going through it at the moment.)
