*weary sigh* <-- That's all I have to say about the idea of colleges giving out "scholarships" to people who play fucking League of Legends. Just "*weary sigh*" and that's it.
And while I'm on the subject of this (fak)e-sports MOBA bullshit, here is this, i.e. another instance of players getting rewarded for being decent human beings, rather than being shitty assholes playing shitty games.
I'm seriously getting tempted to just remove all the gaming news sites from my feedly stuff altogether, at this point. Lately, the only articles that even catch my eye anymore are the asinine ones like this (by that I mean the subjects of the articles are asinine, not necessarily the articles themselves, though there are plenty of cases where the articles themselves are the source of my ire, which is another reason to just start ignoring it all).
