Whoa... Dwarf Fortress is coming to Steam.
It's been around 10 years since I last tried to seriously play it, but... this might be the thing that gets me to try it again, especially since it looks like an actual game now, as opposed to indecipherable ASCII barf.
This is the game that Craft the World and Gnomoria aspired to be. It is the older, beefier brother to those games. Games which I have already kind of forbidden myself to play due to how ridiculously time-consuming and inevitably frustrating they are... so... I dunno, maybe I need to rethink trying to get back into Dwarf Fortress...
