I'm to the point now where any (at least unironic) use of "OK Boomer" will basically result in an automatic, out-of-hand block/ban of the person using it, at least if the forum/medium/social media site I'm seeing it on allows me to block/ban people. I haven't even ever had it directed at myself (regardless of the fact that I'm not a Baby Boomer to begin with[1], not that that stops people from using "OK Boomer" willy nilly against everything whether they're Boomers or not), but I'm just sick of seeing it everywhere now as a throwaway insult.
Remember when CK (conversation killer) was a thing? On, like, newsgroups/usenet or some shit? There'd be a conversation going on, and someone would show up and post something asinine, and the thread would just immediately die? And maybe someone would reply to the asinine post with "CK"? That is what "OK Boomer" is, an inane CK. Worse, that is what it is intended to be.
"OK Boomer" is nothing more than a meme which has already been driven into death through overuse, at least as far as I am concerned.
[1] - I'd be either at the extreme late-end of Generation X or in the "Xennials" (whatever that is, because I never heard of it prior to this) group, at least according to this "top result on Google" thing.
