"Hi. Donald Trump is saying and tweeting some very wild things about the U.S. Constitution, Star Wars, and beautiful baby dolls, so today, Katy, Cody, and Jonathan dig into all the weird stuff he said over the weekend. They also discuss the horrific state of Gaza and ICE's increasing aggression."

Yeah, Donald Trump being depicted with a red lightsaber seems about right.

Also, yeah, who could have possibly predicted that, after Trump became President, things would definitely get worse in Gaza and for anyone in the US who is even remotely expressing concern with how things are going in Gaza?

And holy shit. Wow, okay, this is indeed pretty fucking horrendous: "'We're citizens!': Oklahoma City family traumatized after ICE raids home, but they weren't suspects"

Nuremberg showed us that "just following orders" is not a valid defense for committing war crimes. I hope this eventually bears out for all the rank and file asshats currently committing atrocities (accidentally or intentionally) in the name of Donald Trump[1], as well. But then, it's not as if the latter group will ever actually be held accountable for their heinous bullshit actions in the first place, any more than their fucking God Emperor ever will either[1], so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Seriously, though, at what point can we consider that Donald Trump has finally crossed the line? Does there even still exist a line for him to cross anymore? (I mean, I would say that the line was crossed and left well behind him way back during his first term, and that he should have been [but was not] appropriately punished for it back then, and this second term is just him now sprinting full tilt[2] even farther beyond said line. But what I believe doesn't matter at all, not even a little bit. It will only ever matter if Trumpanzees somehow think he's crossed the line, which seems increasingly unlikely to ever happen, because they're mostly hunky-dory with every fucking vile thing the disgusting shit-for-brains does. Here's to hoping that I am eventually proven wrong on that count and that enough of these people finally do turn against Trump, and against anyone and everyone even remotely within smelling distance of Trump.)

Anyway, in conclusion, to hell forever with Donald Trump, as usual.

[1] - Not that Trump himself will ever be held accountable, mind you. He'll probably be long dead before any serious attempts to do so can ever come to pass. I guess we'll just have to be content with the definite knowledge that he'll be viewed by posterity in a similar way that most (sane) people objectively view monsters like Hitler and Stalin nowadays.

[2] - Figuratively speaking, of course, since we all know it's not physically possible for Donald Junkass Trump to do much more than toddle, let alone "sprint full tilt."

"John Oliver discusses the recent deportations by the Trump administration, the conditions in the facility people are being sent to abroad, and why even Henry Winkler could be in danger of being expelled from the U.S. Yeah, even national treasure Henry Winkler."

The sheer gall of the worst of the worst (who also happens to be a partially person-shaped puddle of putrid piss) calling anyone else "the worst of the worst" would be absolutely laughable if it weren't so fucking depressing and enraging.

The sooner that Donald Trump is dead and rotting in the ground and the sooner that every single person who wants to be the next Donald Trump is also dead and rotting in the ground, the better off this world will be.

Hell, even those Democrats Mr. Oliver mentioned who find it politically inconvenient to, at the absolute very least, excoriate Trump for this fetid dogshit also deserve myriad Mortal Kombat uppercuts Superman speed-blitzed directly into their genitals.

"Hi. Elon Musk says that empathy is 'the fundamental weakness of Western civilization.' In this episode, we look at why the right hates empathy and how they're trying to get more Americans to approve of their antisocial behavior."

The theme of this episode seems to be "no hyperbole here."

Two things about this video.

First, this is one of the best "real life is strangerway more fucked up and broken than fiction" views of current American RWNJ politics I've seen in a long while.

Second, this is one of the best "pulling back to look at the bigger picture" views of current American RWNJ politics I've seen in a good long while. Like a photomosaic, in a way.

Just... example after example after example after example of MAGAts and Trumpanzees and Trumps going so far beyond the pale in their... well... to call it "cartoonish evil" is an unfair insult to cartoons... so... asinine dumbfuckery that they've circled the Earth (like Superman), with all those examples serving to paint the overall picture that it's not just that RWNJs don't fucking care at all anymore about how literally evil they are, it's also a calculated ploy on their part to normalize their evil. And it seems to be working on far too many people (and this is one of those "more than zero is far too many" situations).

But but but... if you dare to bow up and express the least, tiniest bit of "cruelty" back at them in response to their vileness, they shrivel up like prunes, whinge about "lack of empathy," and run away. Something something hypocritcal piss babies.

"If you're wondering how the German people were able to ignore the atrocities around them, this is how. And now, it's happening in real time here."

(Yeah, I didn't "live-post" during watching this episode. I just watched it and then wrote the above. And please, Some More News, don't make me have to create a specific "gutfeld" tag. I really, really don't want to do it.)

Mouse-over text for this one, just to spell it out: "Rümeysa Öztürk was grabbed off the street in my town one month ago."

Anyway, in conclusion, to hell forever with Donald Trump and anyone who still supports Donald Trump, as usual.

Hey, FBI, how about you "investigate" and "arrest" the Criminal-in-Chief instead? Or are you too busy acting as his personal Mafia strongarm thugs? Or would "Gestapo" be a more accurate term for what you're becoming?
kane_magus: (Default)
Well, would you look at that. The Trump-stacked Supreme Court made yet another decision from their position safely ensconced within the grotesque, gargantuan asscheeks of Donald Trump. How banal.
kane_magus: (Default)
*weary goddamned, motherfucking sigh*

Because of fucking course the SCOTUS had the back of the SCROTUS IMPOTUS who stacked it in his favor. No surprise there whatsoever. It would have been actually surprising if they hadn't bent over for him.

"Hi. We've got a long road ahead until (at least?) 2029. Today we explore how Democrats are resisting Donald Trump's authoritarian surge and what individuals can do on the local level to help their communities."

Just gonna go ahead and put the "middle-finger-worthy" tag on this one, based solely on the thumbnail showing an image of co-Presidents Musk and Trump gladhanding each other. Now to actually start watching the video.

Okay, so like the first quarter or so of the video is Cody just correctly and appropriately shitting all over the Democrats for doing practically nothing whatsoever of any worth to slow down Trump, other than lawsuits (which, let's be real, will just be tossed out when they reach the Trump-stacked Supreme Court[1]). Basically, Cody is figuratively shitting on Democrat politicians for not literally shitting on the floor of Congress in protest of Trump. The Democrat Party, collectively, is pretty much just sitting around saying "but I am le tired," without even actually "firing z missiles," right now. Worse than that, they're effectively bending over and spreading their ass cheeks for all the "missiles" being fired by the Trumpublicans.

The next section of the video is suggestions for what the rest of us mere mortals can do in the face of this surging tide of rancid dinosaur shit.

Also, quite a bit about Phony Stark and his Department of Obnoxious Memelords and what people are doing to oppose him, both in and outside of government. That said, I don't see how "tethering Elon Musk to the Republican Party" (which, I mean, he's already done, himself, with their full blessing up to now) is going to accomplish much, considering how tethering fucking Dumbshit Jackass Trump himself to the Republican Party has accomplished exactly jack, squat, and shit all, and has, in fact, been counterproductive to any attempt to censure the GQP for their horrendous malfeasance, since it just makes them circle the wagons and double down on their nonsensical adherence to Trump. Still, protesting Tesla because of Elon Musk's rampant dickholery certainly isn't a bad thing, in and of itself. (Aside from the bullet holes through windows and setting fire to recharging stations. I mean, I guess. Like, really, no matter how much you may hate Elron Mustard and his inane Cybertrucks and the fact that he's literally, indisputably a Nazi, maybe don't shoot up Tesla dealerships and set shit on fire, okay?)

Hey, whoa, it turns out at least a small few Democrats actually are doing more than nothing at all, barely. Good on them.

Man, this video almost makes me wish I were less misanthropic and less a/anti/whatever-social and actually cared even the tiniest bit about "coming together with other people." Well, I mean, outside of posting these blog entries into the ethereal void on a semi-regular basis, I guess. *shrug*

(Also, this was yet another video in which it was simply Cody sitting and talking to a camera for the whole video, without any puppets or whatever. The only thing that could be called a dumb skit was the creamed corn crap at the start and his followup little "I gotta go take a shit now" thing at the end. [Beware of the sudden PlutoTV jumpscare at the ass-end of the video, though; I've never before hit the stop button on a Youtube video faster than I did there.])

[1] - Except, maybe possibly, in the most utterly extreme cases, like when Trump is actively ignoring the orders of federal judges and is improperly calling for the impeachment of federal judges, which is a thing about which even Chief Justice John Roberts took a dim view, imagine that. I won't be holding my breath on that, though. (EDIT) Nope, they bent right over for him in that scenario as well. (/EDIT)

"One Democratic lawmaker also called for immediate hearings on the incident."

I mean, come on. I get that this is a terrible thing that shouldn't be ignored and that articles should be written about it to let people know just what the fuck is going on in clownland[1] these days and that something more than nothing at all should be at least attempted in response to it by those who still have a smidgen of power to potentially do something about it, even if such things will go absolutely nowhere, same as all the rest, but...

...

...look. Everything about the Trump """"""""""administration"""""""""" is, has been, and will continue to be "amateur hour" and "FUBAR" and worthy of responses like "Get the fuck out" and being "aghast" and such. But it's nothing new. It's Donald Jizzstain Trump, after all. It's onerously banal at this point. (And it has still only just been a mere two months so far. We still have 46 motherfucking months to go, people. And that's only if we get extremely lucky and the GQP doesn't figure out a way to give the vile puddle of diarrhea a third term or more.) It's all a farcical clusterfuck that would have and should have been the laughing stock of the entire world, were it not for the fact that everything that they do makes the United States that much worse, that much more unsafe, that much more filled with hate, that much more of a shitty ally to other countries that used to be pretty tight with us up until about two months ago, and which just makes the world as a whole that much shittier simply by virtue of it existing at all. (And, sure, there were some rough spells back in the 2016-2020 era, too, for the very same reasons, but that was barely a blip on the radar compared to the utter dogshit and ponyshit show taking place now.)

We know this. We knew this would be the case from minute one, and by that I mean minute one of Trump's second campaign, let alone minute one of him actually becoming SCROTUS IMPOTUS again. The only thing, to me, that is even remotely shocking about all of this is that it is being allowed to continue.[2] Then again, I guess all the fumblenuts in the government who aren't Trump lickspittles have just as much of a clue how to put a stop to this shit as I do, which is to say, not much of any clue at all. I would've said that the "Second Amendment people" could maybe do something about it, since putting a stop to tyranny was, ostensibly, one of the very reasons they claimed to be so gung-ho about the goddamned Second Amendment to start with, except that the vast majority of those shithead morons are among the absolute worst of the gullible dupes who wrongly believe that all this Trumpish bullshit is somehow actually a good thing. Go fucking figure.

Anyway, in conclusion, as usual, to hell forever with Donald Trump and all of Donald Trump's clownshoes[1] cabinet members and anyone else who continues to willingly support and serve Donald Trump despite everything.

[1] - With apologies to actual clowns and their shoes for comparing them to the Trump """"""""""administration.""""""""""

[2] - I mean, sure, federal judges are trying to put a stop to at least a tiny part of it all, I guess, but Trump is just brazenly ignoring them and doing whatever the fuck he wants, regardless. And on top of that, Trump and the Trumpanzees are calling for the judges to be impeached, because they dare to question Trump's limitless power, when it's Trump who should be impeached (again) and removed from power (fat chance of that), but that's just the world we live in now, I guess.
