What are almost assuredly not possible reasons for the above:
- Trump is confident that his lickspittles have had enough time to doctor everything to mitigate his own obvious looming presence in the Epstein files.
- Trump is confident that the Senate will kill it when it reaches them.
- Trump is making a hail mary pass in that even if it fully passes (both House and Senate), he believes it won't truly matter to his base that he is a pedophile rapist.
- Whoever was "the last person he talked to" convinced Trump this was a good idea.
- Trump has truly deluded himself into believing that he's not actually heavily featured in the Epstein files.
- Trump has truly deluded himself into believing he did nothing wrong, even if he is heavily featured in the Epstein files.
- Trump is simply tired and just doesn't give a shit anymore.
- Trump has gone well and truly dementia-addled and doesn't know what the fuck he's doing or saying anymore.
- Trump is a ridiculously stupid man, even without dementia coming into play.
What are almost assuredly not possible reasons for the above:
- Trump is literally not featured heavily in the Epstein files.
- Trump literally did not rape any teenagers during his decades long association with Epstein, despite otherwise featuring heavily in the Epstein files.
