The "snowmageddon," or whatever asinine dumbshit people are calling this current thing, isn't even supposed to really get here for at least another four or five hours, and yet I'm already just kind of sitting here, generally tense, waiting for the electricity to go off any second now.

Once it gets here, though, it's apparently supposed to last around a full 24 hours before it stops shitting snow/ice all over everywhere.

This time of year sucks shit.

We haven't had any "Everything's On Fire" weather here (not yet, anyway), but we've definitely had a lot of "Here's a weather service warning telling all you dumbasses that it hasn't rained in a good long while, so maybe don't burn stuff outside, unless you want everything to be on fire" weather in the past few months. Just been lucky, I guess, because it certainly doesn't stop dumbasses from burning stuff outside.
